Hiring for Program and Grants Manager
This position is responsible for all compliance, analysis, and procedural aspects of program and grant management. Successful candidate will be involved in the daily administration of various grant programs, including emergency assistance programs through the American Rescue Plan. Duties include but are not limited to identifying and pursuing grant opportunities from state, federal and private organizations; administering a grant tracking system to ensure timely submission of compliance and reimbursement documentation; meeting with and maintaining effective relationships with community groups, local officials, and private organizations; developing and maintaining partnerships for special projects. This is an important position that requires hands-on project management, problem-solving skills, high attention to detail, and creative thinking.
Education and Experience: Bachelor’s degree required; experience with federal and state grant programs, grant writing and administration, and project administration. Previous experience working with a non-profit is a plus.
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities: The successful candidate must possess strong math and writing skills; strong public speaking skills; strong organizational skills and the ability to meet deadlines; proficiency in Microsoft Office and database management skills. Open until filled.
